Laurent Freyss is a self-taught photographer.
He has been interested in silent, evocative, open images. His terrain? The street, wastelands, the Paris region or Eastern Europe, Russia, Japan, and even as far as India.
An ecological activist, he now feels more comfortable in action than in contemplation and has put photography on hold. He left a position as a computer engineer to turn towards carpentry: » There, I find meaning of work, freedom to create, and contact with material » he tells us.
A mindset, a way of apprehending the world and humans that could only resonate with ours and our objectives.
